You start by connecting the silent disco transmitter. This is a small device that you connect to your phone, laptop or DJ set. The transmitter then wirelessly sends the music signal to all headphones. In most cases, you use a 3.5mm jack cable - just like regular headphones. Want to know exactly how the transmitter works? Once the transmitter is connected, all you have to do is turn on your music source. Think Spotify playlist, YouTube DJ set or live DJ. For larger sets, you can use multiple transmitters to broadcast different music channels simultaneously. Each guest then chooses their favorite channel via a button on their headphones.
