Slightly more detailed explanation per step
Step 1
In most cases, the headphones are delivered in a wooden box.
The transmitters are in black bags in the box. Turn on the first transmitter.
Do you have a TX-60RF transmitter then no power is required. Turn on the transmitter by sliding the button on the side to On. Plug the included audio cable into the transmitter or turn on the bluetooth connection. Wondering how to do that? Read more here β
(Note: simultaneously pairing multiple TX-60RF transmitters via Bluetooth can cause confusion because they have the same Bluetooth connection name).
Do you have a TX-50RF connect it to power and plug the desired cable (tulip-tulip or tulip-jack) into the transmitter via the tulip input (red and white jack). Having an indoor party? Set the transmitter on the back to Low (less far but stronger range). Having an outdoor party? Also nice! But put the transmitter on High (range up to 500m). Can't figure it out? See our more comprehensive guide here β
Select the broadcast channel (1, 2 or 3) of the music on your yet-to-be-connected device per transmitter.
You can move on to the next channel! (if you hadn't already turned them all on out of enthusiasm)

Step 2
Connect your mobile, tablet, laptop or DJ equipment to the transmitter using the standard cables supplied or the Bluetooth connection (only with the TX-60RF transmitter). A jack cable is supplied as standard and the TX-50RF also includes a tulip cable for DJ equipment, an XLR cable can be rented separately.
Play music on your device -at a high volume-!Β
Do you have an iPhone or a mobile with only a USB-C connection? No problem! We supply standard adapters So you can connect all devices. Service we call that!

Step 3
Grab a pair of headphones and turn them on with the on-off button.
There is a button on the side to choose between channel 1, 2 or 3. All channels also have their own color; Magenta, Yellow and Cyan. The colors also become visible on the ear cup so that you can see who is listening to which channel while dancing.
On the other side of the headphones is a volume button that can be used to adjust the volume up or down.
It's that simple. You're ready for the party! Choose your favorite channel and start swinging!

Instructions for use Transmitters
We rent two different types of transmitters with our Silent Disco sets.
A transmitter that must be connected to power, with a long range and ideal if you are going to work with DJ equipment, it is called the TX-50RF.
Our other transmitter works with a battery and can be connected by means of bluetooth or a cable. Ideal if you use your mobile to play music. This channel is called the TX-60RF.
We ask a number of things during the ordering process. It is not mandatory to fill this in, but with this information we can accurately estimate what we need to give you to connect everything easily!
